Carnelian

July Birthstone!

Carnelian is a vibrant orange-red form of Chalcedony, capable of igniting passion, love and desire as well as granting courage in the face of adversity. Ancient warriors would even wear amulets of Carnelian into battle for the rush of energy and empowerment that it brings! The Egyptians knew it as “the setting sun” due to it’s warm, captivating colour. Carnelian is also known as ‘the singers stone’ and is excellent for vocal clarification and boosting confidence before a performance or public speaking event.
