About Juvi

Juvi Designs consist of two designers - Julie Danz and Vincent Tynan - who use their specialist knowledge to create an exciting collection of the very best classic, stylish, adventurous and funky jewellery.

The collection incorporates sterling silver, a wide variety of semi-precious stones, swarovski crystals beads and fresh water pearls, and ranges from "delicate" to "chunky" styles - thus appealing to a range of tastes. Unique in their distinctive individuality and excellent craftsmanship these innovative vibrant pieces of jewellery are hand made in small numbers by the designers from their studio and showroom in Dublin.

The design duo is unique in that Julie has an Interior Design background in New York and "absolutely loves working with colour" and Vincent, who came across stones 'by accident' while travelling the world, says "It started off when I was travelling through Mexico and came across an Amber Mine. I couldn't get over the pure colours of Mexican Amber and that it was a natural produce. I was hooked and started collecting different natural stones which led me to buying silver and combining the two." The couple set up Juvi after a trip to South America, where Julie says "the stone shops were like walking into a sweet shop. The colours were amazing."

The design duo obviously delight in researching and sourcing new stones to work with as well as exploring with colour mixes in order to maintain a varied, individual collection that keeps up with current fashion trends. Julie says "Our philosophy - Affordable luxury - is quite simple. "I think it is important for women to occasionally spoil themselves without feeling guilty. If a piece of Juvi jewellery can do this, then my dreams have come true." Juvi's beautiful designs have featured in fashion shoots in Irelands' top magazines such as Image, Tatler and Prudence.

Juvi are in their 6th year of desiging and making beautiful limited edition pieces of jewellery and have received much recognition and praise, including a 'Commendation Award' for 'Best Accessories Designer' at last seasons 'Dublin Fashion Week' (Aug 2006) which subsequently led them to having a 'Concession Stand' in Brown Thomas for the month of December, 2006, which was a great success.
